Green Sense is an award winning UW-Stout student organization
dedicated to environmental improvement on both the UW-Stout campus and
in the Menomonie community.

Meetings: During the spring 2009 semester
we meet on Tuesdays, 7PM (AFM residence hall, first floor lounge).
The only times we won't meet at that time are
when we have our highway and creek cleanups- we'll meet at 5PM on those days and then we'll
carpool to
the cleanup sites.
GreenSense also has a

campus recycling competition during the spring semester.

Working with other campus leaders to
establish composting options for UW-Stout students. GreenSense
members have decided to pursue this campaign in honor of Katie Lee,
our wonderful and dedicated Vice-President of Greensense who died of
leukemia last summer. A memorial fund was established for
Katie and the funds will be used to make Katie's campus composting
dream come true!
